Some news, our blog and some new stuff ...  Read what we and our staff are thinking and doing in the World of Yarn!Coming just as soon as we can get a Blog set up! NewsWell, first up - Rico Can-Can. We kept selling it and selling it. But, like all fads, it seems to have faded away now. We still have a few balls (hanks?) of it left, but we won't be getting any more of it in until next spring. Still, it was interesting and certainly seemed to boost our customers' interest in knitting. People who have never knitted before, or who had only knitted a little, bought it and produced scarves, waist bands for jumpers and lots of other things with a minimum of time and effort. And now we have Rico's Loopy coming in soon. That should be very interesting. Keep an eye open for it! Knit and Natter. This club, which we hold at the shop, has been growing on a monthly basis. It seems that the local knitters do enjoy getting together. If you live in the Bedford area and you'd like to swap patterns and ideas, and maybe learn something new into the bargain why not come along? There's lots of laughter, chat and good coffee (and biscuits, of course!). It runs from 1.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on Mondays. The dates between now and June are April 4, May 9 and June 13.
